The MidWest Junior Golf Tour's mission is to provide affordable, highly competitive golf tournaments for junior golfers at premium golf courses in the Kansas City area.  The tour presents juniors the chance to showcase their talents and receive national recognition at a very reasonable cost.

Annual membership fees of $25.00 per golfer per year will be collected. Click on Membership Application to display a membership application that can be downloaded and mailed to MidWest Junior Golf Tour.

The Fall 2008 Schedule is available.  Please access the Tournaments tab to view and download entry applications.  A Membership Application and annual fees of $25.00 must accompany the tournament entries.

Owen, Lowe, Winslow, Catt, and Taylor win the first event at Shirkey Golf Club

We would like to thank Craig Turley, his staff, and the club patrons for a warm reception and enjoyable tournament 08/23-08/24 at Shirkey Golf Club in Richmond, MO.  The course was in great shape and the weather cooperated. as well, for a successful start to the fall season.

Tanner Owen (Parkville, MO) came from behind on Sunday with a score of 75 to win the Boys 10-11 age division.  Andrew Beckler (Topeka, KS) was close behind for second place and Landon Weber (Madison, SD) was one stroke behind Andrew winning the third place trophy.

Austin Lowe (Kansas City, MO), our Saturday medalist with a score of 74, shot a 72 on Sunday to win the Boys 12-13 age division and post the low two-day score of the tournament, 146.  Danny Summers (Mission Hills, KS) shot a consistent 76/75 to win the second place trophy.  And, Patrick Byrne (Overland Park, KS) finished two strokes behind Danny claiming third place in this age division.

There was a three-way tie for first place in the Boys 14-15 age division with a score of 149 which resulted in a 2-hole playoff.  Joseph Winslow (Overland Park, KS) came from behind on Sunday with the low score of the tournament, 71, and won with a birdie on the second playoff hole.  Conner Schrock (Shawnee Mission, KS) claimed second place from the playoff and shot consistent scores of 75/74.  Adam Cummings (Clinton, MO) shot a 73 on Sunday to make it into the playoff and won the third place trophy.  Colby Yates (Tonganoxie, KS) also shot a 74 on Sunday to take fourth place.  There was a tie for fifth place in this age division with Hank Simpson (Mission Hills, KS) and Michael Kreamer (Leawood, KS) both shooting 77/77 for a total score of 154.  Hank won the fifth place trophy in a scorecard playoff with Michael taking sixth. 

David Catt (Shawnee, KS) led wire-to-wire in the Boys 16-18 age division claiming first place and shooting 77/73 for the tournament.  Robert Neumann (Holt, MO) took home the second place trophy.  And, Jacob Burkholder (Sedalia, MO) rounded out the trophies in this age division with third.

Taylor Black (Warrensburg, MO) won first place in the Girls 8-9 age division.
